This stop was nothing more than an attempt to manufacture a ticket—a clear example of how dirty cops prioritize personal promotions to (Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain) and generating revenue. Following that, I recorded a separate traffic stop where cops let a driver go free after committing a second-degree misdemeanor (a jailable offense under a new Florida license plate statute), showing the absolute hypocrisy of selective enforcement.
Finally, a single Tampa cop couldn't keep his mouth shut, unprofessionaly confronting me while admitting he had no law to back his demand. This leads into the most important part: I am taking this lying officer to court! While I am not a lawyer, I know how to navigate the system to expose the truth. I will be filing motions for discovery to obtain their body camera and dash camera footage, and crucially, I will file a motion to submit my own video evidence (my "skull for evidence") to the court. I plan to put this officer on the stand and use my clear proof of his lie to get him exposed and potentially placed on the Brady List—a list of officers whose credibility is questionable. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Senate has introduced a bill that would require digital content creators in the state to publicly disclose any sponsorship they receive, with stricter filing requirements for funding obtained from foreign principals.
What it does: SB 898, titled the “Online Media Transparency Act,” mandates that digital content creators in the state must clearly disclose any material sponsorship they receive, and requires additional public filing if that sponsorship comes from a foreign principal.
Under the bill, content creators must “clearly and conspicuously disclose” any material connection or sponsorship in their digital media content disseminated within Florida, which includes payments or gifts for promotion.
The required disclosure must identify the sponsorship, use simple and clear language, be in the same language as the sponsored content, and be visible across all devices and formats.
Failure to disclose a material connection constitutes an unfair or deceptive act or practice under the law.
A content creator who receives sponsorship from a foreign principal of a foreign country must file a full and public disclosure with the Department of State.
The public filing must include the foreign principal’s name, the creator’s address, a detailed statement of the creator’s business, and the total amount and nature of all payments received from the foreign principal.
The sponsor: The bill is being carried by Republican Sen. Ileana Garcia. A House version has yet to be filed.
If approved, the bill will take effect July 1, 2026.
The legislative session begins Jan. 13.

“You can preempt states under Article 1 powers through congressional legislation on certain issues, but you can’t do it through executive order,” DeSantis said, arguing that the state is legislating within its rights under the 10th Amendment.
President Donald Trump announced last week that he will issue an executive order to establish a single federal standard for AI regulation across all 50 states, arguing that individualized state efforts, such as the proposed comprehensive AI Bill of Rights in Florida, would effectively destroy the technology in its infancy.
The president’s mandate, which came just days after DeSantis detailed his state-level proposals, asserts that allowing multiple state regulatory bodies would slow innovation.

Air Pollution Linked To Autoimmune Diseases Like Lupus, Arthritis, Experts Say

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 17, 2025 — Air pollution might play a role in people’s risk for developing autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, a new study says.
People exposed to particle air pollution had higher levels of anti-nuclear antibodies, a characteristic marker of autoimmune rheumatic diseases, researchers recently reported in the journal Rheumatology.
“These results point us in a new direction for understanding how air pollution might trigger immune system changes that are associated with autoimmune disease,” senior researcher Dr. Sasha Bernatsky, a professor of medicine at McGill University in Canada, said in a news release.
For the study, researchers collected blood samples from more than 3,500 people living in Canada’s Ontario region, looking at their levels of anti-nuclear antibodies.
Anti-nuclear antibodies are produced by the immune system as part of an autoimmune disease. These antibodies mistakenly target the body’s own cells and tissues.
The team compared those blood test results to people’s average exposure to particle pollution, based on air pollution tracking data for their home address.
People with the highest levels of exposure to air pollution were 46% to 54% more likely to have high levels of anti-nuclear antibodies, the study found.
Fine particle pollution involves particles that are 2.5 microns wide or smaller, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. By comparison, a human hair is 50 to 70 microns wide.
“These fine particles in air pollution are small enough to reach the bloodstream, potentially affecting the whole body,” Bernatsky said.
She stressed that such pollution is not just a problem for big cities.
“Air pollution is often seen as an urban problem caused by traffic, but rural and suburban areas experience poor air quality too,” Bernatsky said, pointing to wildfires that choke the sky with smoke.
The results underscore why standards to reduce air pollution are important, she concluded.
“Even though air quality is overall better in Canada than in many other countries, research suggests there is no safe level, which is why Canadian policymakers need research like ours,” Bernatsky said.

The chart below is a fascinating snapshot of the last 75 years in the demise of the American empire.
As The Burning Platform's Jim Quinn explains in his no-nonsense manner, there are currently 164 million people employed in America. About 34 million of those are employed part-time.
When you understand the working age population is 275 million and your friendly number fudgers at the BLS declare 103 million of them NOT IN THE LABOR FORCE, and hysterically declaring only 7.8 million Americans are unemployed, you understand what a fraudulent economy we have.
The reported 4.6% unemployment rate is complete and utter bullshit. In reality, it is north of 20%.
Welcome to the golden age...
The percentage of total jobs in the Education and Health Services sector has grown from 4.8% in 1950 to 17.8% today. Wow!! We must be the smartest, healthiest nation on earth. Not quite. With 28 million teachers, doctors, nurses, and mostly administrators (aka overhead), our education system matriculates millions of barely functional idiots into society every year. Meanwhile, as a country, we are sickly, fat, lazy, dependent upon Big Pharma drugs, and spend more on healthcare than any country on earth. To quote the immortal Dean Wormer, “Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.”
Proof we have become a non-productive, debt dependent, government dependent, shadow of our former industrial powerhouse is the decline in the percentage of manufacturing jobs from 30.2% in 1950 to 8.0% today. We borrow and consume, when we used to invest and build. Trump can threaten, tariff the world, and make bullshit announcements about manufacturing jobs coming back, but they are not coming back. Any new manufacturing plants will be operated by robotics.
Even though the percentage of government employees (aka parasites) has remained relatively steady since 1950, we are stuck with 24 million blood suckers who contribute nothing to the country’s productivity. The average working schmuck has to pay outrageously high taxes to pay the bloated salaries and pensions of these government freeloaders.
And now some bad news for the formerly well paid workers in the Professional & Business Services sector, which had grown from 6.6% of total jobs in 1950 to 14.1% today. ChatGPT and the avalanche of AI tools are eliminating jobs in these sectors at hyperbolic speed. These are the same assholes who used to tell blue collar workers to “learn to code”. Well, now the plumbers, electricians, and construction workers can recommend they learn to be fry cooks at McDonalds, but too late, robots are taking those jobs.
The relatively stable employment situation over the last few years has been the only thing keeping this ship of fools from sinking.
But, the increase in the fraudulent unemployment rate from 4.0% when Trump took office to 4.6% today shows the ship is taking on water and it won’t be long before millions are drowning under the waves of debt, delusion, and dumb decisions.

The Federalist, commonly referred to as the Federalist Papers, is a series of 85 essays written by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison between October 1787 and May 1788. The essays were published anonymously, under the pen name "Publius," in various New York state newspapers of the time.
The Federalist Papers were written and published to urge New Yorkers to ratify the proposed United States Constitution, which was drafted in Philadelphia in the summer of 1787. In December 2024, researchers studying animal remains from the Bronze Age settlement of Arkaim in southern Russia made an unprecedented discovery. Embedded in a domesticated sheep tooth was DNA from Yersinia pestis, the bacterium that causes plague. This marked the first time the ancient Late Neolithic and Bronze Age plague strain had ever been identified in a non-human animal.
Until now, scientists were baffled. The Bronze Age plague lacked the genes required for flea-based transmission, yet genetic evidence showed it repeatedly caused large-scale outbreaks between 5,000 and 3,000 years ago. Populations collapsed, megasettlements were abandoned, and entire regions declined for centuries. The mechanism behind this spread remained unknown.
The sheep provided the missing link.
It belonged to the Sintashta culture, highly mobile Bronze Age pastoralists who revolutionized Eurasia through horse domestication, large herds, and long-distance seasonal movement. Genetic evidence indicates this was not flea-borne bubonic plague, but pneumonic plague. It infected the lungs, spread directly between people through breath, and could kill within days. A Scandinavian family tomb in Falbygden, Sweden reveals its impact. Across six generations, researchers identified three separate plague waves. One third of the family died during active infection, matching mortality rates of the Black Death.
Across western Eurasia, population models show a catastrophic 50 percent decline between 3450 and 3000 BCE. Some regions took nearly 3,000 years to recover. Relative to global population size, this Bronze Age pandemic may have been deadlier than the Spanish Flu.
