Winter Storm Niko to Become a Northeast Snowstorm:
Winter Storm Warnings Issued For Philadelphia, New York
City, Boston
Most of the Northeast megalopolis will see heavy snow,
beginning Wednesday night into Thursday.
This will create difficult travel conditions and flight
delays Thursday.
Snowfall rates of more than an inch per hour are likely.
This will be the first significant snow for the I-95
corridor since early-mid January.
Winter Storm Niko will bring heavy snow to a sizable
swath of the Interstate 95 Northeast corridor Wednesday
night through Thursday. Many areas will pick up 6-12
inches of snow during this quick-hitting storm, with
snowfall rates topping one inch per hour at times.
The snow will make for difficult road travel and will
likely trigger significant flight delays Thursday in
Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Winter storm warnings stretch from coastal Maine
southward through New England, southeastern New York,
and into eastern and south-central Pennsylvania, New
Jersey, and parts of northern Delaware, northern
Maryland and northern West Virginia. This includes
Boston, Providence, Hartford, New York City and
Philadelphia.
A blizzard warning has been issued for Cape Cod,
Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket in Massachusetts, as
well as eastern and central Long Island in New York.
Winter weather advisories, for the potential of lighter
snow accumulations, are posted in parts of southeast New
Jersey, central Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia,
northern Virginia, central and western Pennsylvania,
upstate New York, Vermont and central New Hampshire.
This includes Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Albany, New
York.
The setup for this snow event features a pattern seen
frequently in past winters, but not so much this winter.
A sharp southward plunge of the polar jet stream in the
East will spawn an area of low pressure off the Eastern
seaboard on Thursday. That low will intensify rapidly
while moving northeast and may undergo "bombogenesis,"
which is a rapid pressure drop of 24 millibars in 24
hours.
With some cold air in place behind now departed Winter
Storm Maya, Niko will wrap moisture into sufficiently
cold air to wring out snow, heavy at times, near the
Interstate 95 corridor. Thundersnow is not out of the
question in a few spots Thursday.
Snow spreads from the Ohio Valley and Appalachians into
the parts of the Mid-Atlantic states.
The line separating rain from snow is still somewhat
uncertain, but looks to set up generally along I-95 near
the Washington D.C. and Baltimore metro areas.
At least some snow is most likely overnight north of
Interstate 95, including Philadelphia, the New York City
Tri-State area and southern New England before dawn
Thursday.
Snow, heavy for some, will linger in parts of the
mid-Atlantic states as far north as New York City
through the morning before tapering off/ending by early
afternoon.
Farther north, snow, heavy at times, will persist much
of the day in New England, especially in southern and
eastern New England.
Snow will gradually taper off in far eastern New England
Thursday night. They will be most persistent in Cape Cod
(ocean-effect bands) and in Downeast Maine.
Winds will intensify quickly along the northeast coast
Thursday, with gusts over 50 mph possible in far
southeast New England, capable of some downed tree limbs
and wires. Some minor coastal flooding is also possible
in eastern Massachusetts.
Blizzard conditions are possible in coastal southeast
Massachusetts and eastern Long Island.

Can you imagine any type of automation control systems using AT&T for
their paths to 'talk' to those machine processes ?
WHAT IF THOSE WERE NUCLEAR REACTORS ???? Or any other very important
systems feeding data back and forth...
What IF those pieces of automation were controlling the launches of
missiles and programmed to go off by themselves IF IT DETECTED A LOSS OF
MULTIPLE 'STATIONS' AT ONCE LIKE A STRIKE HAPPENED ???
8 minutes does not sound like a lot of time... but it is FOREVER in
computer systems running the speed most new systems are currently.
How far could an enemy's missiles have traveled in that amount of
time ?
WHAT IF THAT SAME ENEMY WAS THROWING THOSE MISSILES UP PARKED RIGHT
OFF OUR COASTS ??
They may consider this 'FEAR MONGERING' but these are VALID QUESTIONS

Systems running in parallel are designed as primary and secondary
BACKUPS, just like alternate ROUTERS and SERVERS often have backups or
'share the loads' or as alternate routes to send and receive
information.
AT&T killed the 'heart' of the IP systems in place in the '8

during that event, I was busy working on other pieces of my own systems

see if the ROUTERS are still working ( they use the numberical IP

Information - Mysterious Radiation Clouds Could Threaten
Airline Travelers

Air travel just doesn’t seem quite as safe as it once
did. Although, was hurtling through the air at
incredible altitudes inside a giant metal tube ever
really safe? Not if you ask gravity. Aside from the
usual dangers associated with mechanical failures and
human error, air travelers now have to worry about
drones or UFOs buzzing about the skies, or even the
recent string of mystery illnesses striking airliners
worldwide and causing mysterious groundings. NASA, being
the harbingers of doom and gloom that they often are
these days, has added another terrifying danger to the
list of things to fear when flying: mysterious clouds of
dangerous cosmic radiation floating around the
stratosphere.
NASA physicists working at the Goddard Space Flight
Center have published a report outlining the dangers of
such radiation clouds and their efforts to study them.
The source of cosmic radiation is the constant
bombardment our planet is subjected to by the Sun and
other extraterrestrial radiation sources outside our
solar system. Earth’s magnetic field (magnetosphere)
blocks most of this radiation, but given recent
disturbances in the geomagnetic field, cosmic radiation
could be posing an increasingly worrisome threat.
In a recent publication in the awesomely-named journal
Space Weather, NASA astrometeorologists claimed that
fluctuations in the magnetosphere have created dense
clouds of radiation at various altitudes in Earth’s
skies:
[We] report on small radiation “clouds” in specific
magnetic latitude regions and note that active
geomagnetic, variable space weather conditions may
sufficiently modify the magnetospheric magnetic field
that can enhance the radiation environment, particularly
at high altitudes and middle to high latitudes.
In a study of 265 flights, radiation levels were found
to have suddenly spiked for seemingly no reason. NASA
scientists believe these strange “clouds” of cosmic
radiation trapped in our atmosphere might be the
culprit. To help study these clouds and their effects on
humans, NASA has launched a new upper atmosphere
balloon-based lab called “RaD-X” which will collect data
on radiation levels at various altitudes.

Cosmic radiation, like any other type of radiation, can
cause many different health issues. Quantifying and
measuring the risks associated with cosmic radiation is
difficult because of naturally-occurring fluctuations
and the unpredictability of variables such as time spent
in the area, the location of flights, and the levels of
ambient radiation on any given day. Flight crews are at
a much higher risk than travelers due to the amount of
time they spend in the air, and pregnant women are also
warned against frequent flying.
According to
geophysicist Páll Einarsson, four of Iceland's volcanoes
are showing increased amounts of activity in preparation
for another eruption.
The volcanoes in question are Katla, Hekla, Bárðarbunga
and Grímsvötn – three of which have already erupted in
the last 20 years. Geophysicist Páll Einarsson says that
could all erupt.
Katla is Iceland's most dangerous volcano and is located
underneath the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap.
Katla has been showing signs of restlessness recently,
with tremors in September exceeding the magnitude 3
mark.
The last eruption in Katla occurred in 1918.
Hekla, otherwise known as the 'Gateway to Hell', erupted
in 2000, sending a cloud of ash up to six kilometres
high.
Hekla is located in the southern part of the country and
has been quiet for sixteen years. But data collected in
June last year. revealed it is building up magma.
The Grímsvötn volcano is located underneath the
Vatnajökull glacier. In 2011, Grimsvotn erupted, sending
a huge plume of ash into the skies, that led to several
flights being grounded.
Bardarbunga is a large central volcano lying underneath
Iceland's Vatnajokull glacier, in the centre of the
country.
It contains a 2,296ft-deep (700 metre) caldera, hidden
beneath ice, covered in extensive flank fissures, from
where the majority eruptions take place.
The most recent eruption began in August 2014, and
lasted until February 2015.
With 130 volcanoes – both active and inactive - Iceland
is one of the most intensely volcanic places in the
world.
The warning follows the 2010's explosive eruption of
Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull, which caused more
than 10 million air passengers to be stranded and cost
the European economy an estimated £4 billion ($4.9
billion).

the slightest question but that the president, in his sole discretion,
can choose to admit or exclude any foreigners he likes, based on "the
interests of the United States.”
The Clinton administration used the executive branch's broad power over
immigration to send a 6-year-old boy back to a communist dictatorship.
The courts were completely powerless to stop him.
As explained by the federal appellate court that ruled on Elian
Gonzalez's asylum application: "It is the duty of the Congress and of
the executive branch to exercise political will," and "in no context is
the executive branch entitled to more deference than in the context of
foreign affairs," which includes immigration.
The court acknowledged that Elian might well be subjected to
"re-education," "communist indoctrination" and "political manipulation."

matter! Sending little boys back to communist dictatorships was the

When Arizona merely tried to enforce the federal immigration laws being
ignored by the Obama administration, the entire media erupted in rage at
this incursion into the majestic power of the president over
immigration. They said it was like living in Nazi Germany!
One Iraqi national and one Egyptian national were apprehended by
U.S. Border Patrol agents after the individuals from terror-hotbeds had
illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border
Protection (CBP) confirmed the concerning apprehensions to Breitbart
Texas in a statement. CBP declined to confirm that the foreign nationals
were men, though a source operating under the umbrella of their agency
claimed they were both males to Breitbart Texas.
“USBP agents [U.S. Border Patrol agents] from Lordsburg Station
apprehended two individuals, one Iraqi national and the other from
Egypt, while on patrol Saturday at 2:15 p.m. local time along Arizona
State Route 80. Records checks and interviews produced no derogatory
information and the two individuals were placed into removal
proceedings,” wrote a spokesperson for the agency.
Single mother Kiarre Harris started researching homeschooling last
November. She says her two elementary school aged children weren't
excelling at their failing Buffalo Public Schools.
"I felt that the district was failing my children and that's when I
made the decision to homeschool," she said.
Harris says she filed documents at Buffalo City Hall, following all
the steps, informing the district of her intent to homeschool her
children. According to documents she provided to 7 Eyewitness News,
they're dated December 7th and the district says it received her
paperwork.
"I spoke directly to the homeschool coordinator and she told me from
this point on my children were officially un-enrolled from school."
During the hearing – and one on Tuesday before the House Armed
Service Committee – the vice chiefs pleaded with lawmakers to repeal
legislation limiting defense spending, arguing that fiscal constraints
have crippled the military’s capability to respond to threats.
Despite annual defense spending coming in at more than $600 billion,
each of the branches has asked to increase the 2017 defense budget by
more than $30 billion to purchase new jet fighters and armored vehicles
as well as improve training. This request from the panel of four-star
military officers dovetails with President Trump’s promise to reinvest
in a “depleted” fighting force and his Defense Department’s push to do
away with limits on military spending.

A Muslim-owned arts-and-crafts store in Dearborn, Michigan is
forcing its female Christian employees to wear traditional
Islamic headscarves while on the job.
According to local reports, Khilāf Krafts began requiring its
eight female employees to wear hijabs last week, following the
U.S. Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby,
which gave religious rights to family-owned businesses.
Although five women working for the company are Muslims, the
remaining three are practicing Christians. The company has
threatened to fire any Christian woman who does not comply.
“My boss came in last Tuesday with a Koran in his hand and
told us we were dressed like harlots,” says Karen Anderson, 28,
a five year veteran of the company. “He gave us each a hijab and
said if we didn’t wear it we’d be unemployed.

Police seized 24
suicide belts and detained four suspected members of the
self-proclaimed Islamic State near Gaziantep on
Thursday, according to reports. Officials reportedly
state that the suspects were planning to carry out an
attack in Turkey but were arrested and taken into
custody in Gaziantep, close to the border with Syria.
The suicide belts were made with 150 kg (330lbs) of
explosives and found alongside two automatic rifles, 14

At the press conference Tuesday evening, the Department
of Water Resources said its engineers were actively
brainstorming a solution to fix the hole.
Officials said they have three or four days before they
have to start letting the water spill again. If and when
they do, the hole, estimated 180 feet wide by 250 feet
long and 30 feet deep, will likely get bigger.
In the meantime, the DWR said it does not know what
caused the erosion, but engineers are looking into a
quick fix because of expected rain in the next few days.
Officials said they haven't had a release over the
spillway like this since 2006, but the spillway's
capacity was much higher than the 60,000 cubic feet of
water per second that was coming down when the hole
formed. Capacity is about 150,000 cfs.
An explosion has
taken place at French utility EDF's Flamanville nuclear
plant but there is no risk of a radiation leak,

indicted on Wednesday by a federal grand jury on charges he willfully

A woman from the Montreal suburb of Brossard says she was denied
entry into the U.S. Saturday after being fingerprinted, photographed and
questioned in detail about her religion and her views on U.S. President
Donald Trump.
Fadwa Alaoui, a Moroccan-born Canadian citizen who is Muslim and
wears a hijab, says she has used her Canadian passport to enter the
United States many times without incident to visit her parents and
brother, who live there.
On the weekend she was travelling with two of her children and an
adult cousin, who all have Canadian passports. She said they planned to
spend the day shopping in Burlington, Vt., but after four hours at the
border they were turned back.

Moscow says it is
