I was investigating using the inexpensive versions of the Reolink E1 cameras for different projects and needed a way to power them without needing the AC 5vdc adapter that comes with them. ( I wanted to be able to put them in a car close to the house and also have them act as a inexpensive burglar alarm... with siren and email notifications or silent if you wanted to configure it that way )

This cable adapter was referred to me by Reolink network support personnel... they did not have an actual cable like I was describing but the technician found this cable assembly that may work like I needed. It is not a Reolink object for sale and not supported by Reolink but may work for this project application )

No, I do not work for Amazon or Reolink<G>.... I just needed something so that I could see around my home when I'm not there so I made the decision to invest in these. The outside battery powered cameras are more expensive but I never have to worry about dead batteries or wire that can be cut.

There are also cameras that have CELL PHONE ACCESS so you do not even have to have a WiFi connection to send video and sound and to possibly set off an audible alarm or talk to the intruder if needed... a little more expensive and you would have to pay a additional cell phone bills but also less dependent on internet service at the location.
